My name is Anna Morgan Smith. I am from a very small town called North, South Carolina. It is located about 40 miles south of Columbia. North is a small town with a population of about 1000 people. We have one stop light, a Family Dollar, a Dollar General, and a Chinese restaurant.
I have been teaching English at Edisto High School for the past nine years. I am also prom advisor and yearbook advisor. Thank goodness both of these stressful parts of the school year are finally over! Edisto High School is in an even smaller town than North called Cordova. It is a very rural school district that is “out in the country”. I love my school, community, and students.
My favorite band is a country rock band named “Blackberry Smoke”. They are from Atlanta, Georgia. I have traveled to four states to see them perform.
I am currently perusing my M.Ed. in Educational Technology through USCA. I am taking two courses this summer, and will finish my degree May 2017. I am excited to be enrolled in the program through USCA as I earned my undergraduate degree from USCA and loved every minute of my experience at this wonderful university.
My goal is to complete my Master’s Degree and take a year off to travel which is one of my hobbies. After this year break, I plan on pursuing my Doctorate in English. I eventually want to teach English at the post-secondary level.

Introduction
Hello Everyone,
